Job Summary
Responsible for resources to deliver complex and large strategic programs. Builds effective relationships with global stakeholders and government/governance bodies.

Responsibilities

Planning

  • Inputs into strategic business cases
  • Plans large scale and/or complex programs often leading multiple functional teams (internally and externally) to deliver strategic business cases

Stakeholder Management

  • Works extensively with internal and external global stakeholders and likely to work with government/governance bodies to build effective relationships

Communications

  • Has multiple communication responsibilities for: i.e. local, global and external government and governing bodies communication and engagement

Risk Management

  • Complex and reputational risk management spans projects, strategic, government and governing bodies where required
  • When faced with issues applies lateral thinking and analyses available information to solve complex problems

Project/Program Delivery

  • Responsible for delivery of company wide/regional strategic programs, will mentor more junior program managers

Resource Management (people, finances etc.)

  • Responsible for resources to deliver complex and large strategic programs and budget management/controls

Chief of Staff (CoS in addition to the above may have extra responsibilities)

  • Responsible for coordinating Functional Leadership agendas, drafting functional and cross-functional communications, tracking functional projects and carrying out activities to maintain leadership team cohesion
  • May also be involved in functional FP&A budgeting, reporting and analysis activities
  • May represent E-team leader in meetings
  • Member of leadership team

Customer Care (For employees working in Customer Care and Experience)

  • Manages implementation of unique customer solutions provided guidance to stakeholders on solution and process
  • Develops unique program and project plans to manage implementation and determine best practices for new and/or unique products
  • Meets with and presents to customer and internal executive stakeholders
  • Manages internal company wide stakeholders on project teams, holds them accountable for meeting commitments while optimizing process and documenting changes
  • Has an in-depth technical knowledge of all Equinix products/processes and assists in implementing new ones
  • Resolves complex issues and escalations independently at all levels
  • Leads cross-functional process development and documentation
  • Documents lessons learned and drive changes with stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience preferred
  • Diploma to a Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Managing Successful Programs Foundation certification preferred
