Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic partner marketer to join the EMEA Partner Marketing team. As a Partner Marketing Manager at Equinix, you will work closely with our most strategic partners in the ecosystem including Global Systems Integrators (GSIs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Value Add Resellers (VARs), Distributors, Network Service Providers (NSPs) and other regional partners with the goal to drive mutual growth through our multi-cloud networking solutions, distributed AI, and high performance data center solutions. This role will develop a deep understanding of Equinix's organisational priorities, GTM strategy for partners, and channel sales alignment to develop, plan and execute an integrated regional partner marketing plan enabled through marketing investment. The role will be the UK partner marketing lead including some pan-EMEA responsibilities, and oversight for EMEA Distribution Marketing, working cross functionally internally and externally to drive and execute against quarterly marketing plans to build pipeline. This is an exciting role in a growing company. The ideal candidate will have creative marketing ideas to combine with extensive analytic and data-driven demand generation experience in working with and through various partner types. Ability to effectively communicate, adapt along the way and demonstrate impact. The candidate should be detail-oriented and organised, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and an evolving landscape in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes the joint end-to-end partner marketing plan inclusive of budget, featuring integrated 'with' / 'through' marketing campaigns to create demand generation and build pipeline. Plus 'to' partner marketing initiatives driving partner awareness and engagement.
  • Reports partner marketing performance results including Partner Generated Opportunities and Pipeline Value as part of a regular cadence. Familiar living in the raw data, using pivot tables and creating SFDC reports to extract insights to guide decision making and ROI.
  • As a trusted advisor help manage multiple top tier partners within the Equinix ecosystem. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for partner marketing best practices, advising and sharing across the organisation how partners and partner marketing campaigns support overall revenue growth
  • Develops joint value proposition between Equinix and partner, understands the value of why and how we are coming together to deliver joint solutions for customers and prospects
  • Develops foundational content and collateral (solution briefs, whitepapers, videos, etc.) for covered partners working cross functionally
  • In addition, provides oversight management of the Pan-EMEA Distribution marketing effort, working closely with local Distribution stakeholders to ensure plans are aligned, communicated and managed appropriately.
  • Collaborates with field marketing, global and alliance partner marketing, partner program, channel sales, finance, legal, brand, PR, product marketing teams and leadership to ensure cross functional alignment and a coordinated approach with quarterly partner marketing plans

Qualifications

  • A creative thinker, capable of producing imaginative campaigns and content that will entice partners, customers and prospects alike to engage and conduct business with Equinix
  • Self-starter motivated by continuous improvement, with a focus on achieving successful outcomes against objectives and KPIs.
  • Skilled in joint planning with partners, demonstrating influence and driving timely execution to deadlines. Capable of leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders effectively
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in demand generation and channel marketing partnerships including VARs, distribution, systems integrators, managed serviced providers, network service providers.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse business, partnership, sales, and marketing performance to build plans and recommendations. Comfortable using raw data, pivot tables and creating SFDC reports
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, adept at working across international teams and comfortable reporting / presenting to leadership
  • Curious mindset with a willingness to adapt and a desire for personal and professional growth
