Job Summary
Equinix Global Events is seeking a qualified Event Content Manager to join our award-winning global team. The event content manager is responsible for the overall strategy and development of event agendas and programming designed to optimize the attendee experience. In this role, a successful candidate will collaborate with internal Equinix stakeholders and event team peers to design, plan, and develop content and messaging for events. This event portfolio could include internal executive offsite meetings, global sales meetings, customer events, tier 1 tradeshows and corporate events.

Responsibilities
The event content manager is responsible for leading the planning process with internal stakeholders to create the overall agenda and supporting creative elements for Equinix events, with the end goal of executing an exceptional attendee experience. Duties will also include writing attendee communications; developing executive presentations and scripts; writing content and copy for event registration sites; and much more. The ideal candidate is an experienced content and communications professional with experience supporting senior executives. They must be highly organized and detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment and have direct experience managing events.
As the event content manager, you will:
- Collaborate with event stakeholders to set the event strategy, including objectives, key messaging, and vision for the event
- Plan, manage, and design the event agenda and supporting content that aligns with business goals and priorities
- Select and present outside speaker options to event stakeholders and manage the relationship and contracting process with speakers.
- Collaborate with the design and creative services teams to produce custom branding assets
- Edit, proofread, and improve content messaging as needed
- Analyze attendee feedback to generate ideas that improve the overall experience
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver work on time and within budget
- Maintain and manage milestones with cross-team dependencies in AirTable (our online Project Management tool)
For tradeshows you will:
- Research and advise on event sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and brand activations that align with business goals
- Propose and design exhibit booth layouts and floor plans to meet the show goals and objectives
- Collaborate with the design and creative services teams to produce custom branding assets
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience preferred
- 6+ years of relevant experience in event program management
- Bachelor's degree required in marketing, communications, or relevant field
- Ability to learn and effectively use project management and collaboration tools including AirTable, Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint

United States - (CO, DE, FL, GA, MI, MN,NV,NH, OR, PA, RI, TX, WI) : 103,000 - 155,000 USD / Annual
United States - CA Non-Bay Area, AK, CT, DC, HI, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, VA, WA : 114,000 - 170,000 USD / Annual
United States - CA Bay Area : 122,000 - 184,000 USD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
