Job Summary - Entry Level Data Center Technician
Join our dynamic team in Sofia as a Data Center Technician II. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals starting their career in IT, computer science or telecommunications. You'll receive training and support while learning how to manage work orders, install equipment, and assist with basic troubleshooting. You'll also help ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Work Order Support
- Review and respond to incoming work requests with guidance.
- Learn to document tasks in our ticketing system.
Equipment Installation
- Assist with racking and stacking customer equipment.
- Support basic setup tasks like cable management and patch panel installation.
Cross-Connect Assistance
- Help with standard cross-connect installations and modifications under supervision.
Testing & Troubleshooting
- Participate in basic testing and troubleshooting activities.
- Learn to perform Layer 1 certification testing.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with operations and security teams.
- Provide support for customer visits and access coordination.
Customer Service
- Deliver friendly and professional on-site support.
- Help manage expectations for new deployments.
What You'll Need
- Languages: Good proficiency in Bulgarian and English.
- Education: Completed vocational training or coursework in IT or Telecommunications (or currently pursuing).
- Experience: Some hands-on experience with hardware, troubleshooting and IT equipment.
- Skills:
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a technical environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with common tools.
- Strong customer service mindset.
