Job Summary

The role involves planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining engineering systems for Data Center facilities. Responsibilities include leading small-scale projects, developing engineering standards, and collaborating with internal and external teams. The position also entails overseeing daily operations and strategic direction for construction and operational delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and manage engineering initiatives to meet company expectations
  • System Operations: Perform maintenance and repairs on engineering systems; develop SOWs; ensure safe working practices
  • Training: Mentor new staff and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Contract Administration: Manage contracts, change orders, and cost forecasts
  • Leadership: Mentor junior team members and direct project teams and external vendors
  • Policy Development: Provide feedback on policies and ensure adherence to standards
  • Problem Solving: Address complex issues and recommend system enhancements
  • Subject Matter Expert: Share expert knowledge and present at industry seminars

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
  • Advanced knowledge of high and low voltage electrical systems
  • Proven years of facilities management experience
  • Proven years of experience in the Data Center industry (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills English (mandatory)
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work in a team-oriented, international environment
