Data Center Critical Facilities III

Job Summary
Assists with basic repairs, maintenance, and installations. Collaborates with others to resolve basic incidents and to keep the Data Center running smoothly.

Responsibilities
Facility/Infrastructure Maintenance

  • Performs site inspections and monitors the building and Data Center alarms
  • Performs basic preventative maintenance on site infrastructure (e.g. changing filters on air conditioning units), or manages vendors
  • Assists more senior staff in repairs and corrective maintenance

Site Administration

  • Completion of site logs and data gathering for basic permits, such as MOPs and scripts

Incident Management

  • Assists more senior staff with responding to all on-site incidents and acts as directed

Work Orders

  • Completes basic work requests and assists with circuit installations

Collaboration

  • May work internally or with other departments to increase efficiencies and reduce potential failure scenarios

Additional Projects

  • Assists more senior staff with infrastructure projects

Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related engineer
  • 1+ years experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance
  • The employee must work rotating shifts of 11 hours, 10 hours plus 1 hour for lunch, working 40 hours per week with 2 day off per week and 1 weekend off every 2 weeks
