Job Summary:
The Business Analyst will partner with business groups to ensure the delivery of applications aligned with business strategy, focusing on AI and Observability system projects. This role involves managing projects from inception to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that the needs of Network Operations staff are met. The ideal candidate will translate product roadmaps into actionable user stories, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive high user adoption. As part of the role, the candidate will also produce business process mapping, process documentation and take part in continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Requirements Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze, define, and document business requirements across functional areas.
- Drive best practices during requirements gathering and modeling, focusing on core requirements and their broader context.
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of services.
2. Solution Design:
- Design and document cross-functional solutions, leveraging the expertise of functional and technical team members.

- Champion good design practices and advise on solutions prepared by peers or supporting teams.
3. Product Backlog Management:
- Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, translating the product roadmap into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with the Product Manager to align sprint goals with the overall product vision and strategy.
4. Process Modeling and Design:
- Analyze, define, and document business processes, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization and align with strategic goals.
- Champion sustainable and forward-looking functional designs that consider future business needs.
5. Testing & Test Design:
- Coordinate integration testing, validate test cases with stakeholders for user acceptance testing, and obtain necessary sign-offs.
- Manage defects clarification and resolution with engineering teams.
6. Project Management:
- Manage multiple application releases and projects, designing release scope and schedules in line with business goals and IT capacity.
- Ensure smooth rollout of products and drive high user adoption.
7. Stakeholder Management:
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communications, proactively including the correct stakeholders in discussions.
- Serve as the dedicated point of contact for the engineering team, clarifying requirements and guiding them through development sprints.
8. Training and Organizational Change Management:
- Collaborate with functional leadership to plan and execute training activities for subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Analyze adoption rates and propose solutions to improve business case realization.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage dependencies across multiple teams.
- Strong understanding of network systems and IT infrastructure.
- Experienced with Agile methodology and Scrum principles.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and modern observability platforms.
- ITIL Foundation knowledge and experience in AI and Observability systems is a plus.
