The Data Partnerships team at Epsilon is responsible for establishing partnerships with 3rd party data vendors and strategic platforms that support the EPC platform offerings, creating the proprietary Epsilon data assets that enhance EPC platform capabilities, and working directly with agency and client partners on how to best leverage Epsilon and partner data to achieve their objectives.

Epsilon is seeking a Senior Director to focus on promoting, maintaining, and improving the EPC activation process to support Epsilon's growth goals with the monetization of EPC Audiences usage via EPC platforms (Discovery, Prospect, Digital CDP etc.).

This role will report into the Epsilon Data Partnerships team. Currently, there are 2 full-time Data Partnerships associates dedicated to supporting the Activation Reconciliation process, with additional support from Product & Engineering (automation), Product Support (operations) and Finance & Accounting (invoicing).

This new hire will oversee the entire process from adoption to reconciliation to invoicing. The primary stakeholders for this position will include Epsilon/Publicis Groupe Executive Leadership, Managing Director of EPC Data Platforms, EPC Product Leads, Epsilon Data Practice Leads, Epsilon Sales & Account teams, Publicis Groupe central teams, Publicis Groupe agencies, and direct Epsilon clients.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain :
    • Oversee and become the primary point-of-contact for EPC activation from a revenue and process perspective.
    • Define new processes and requirements to continue trends towards automation and accuracy of information.
    • Oversee the data collection inputs that inform the reconciliation process.
    • Populate, validate, and finalize monthly revenue reporting for accrual and invoicing.
    • Support processes for vendor and supplier costs and payments.
    • Handle all invoicing and reporting irregularities.
    • Represent overall revenue P&L reporting for EPC Activation to Epsilon leadership, other divisions such as Product and Sales, and Publicis leadership as required.
    • Manage any direct reports and future headcount as needed.
  • Improve :
    • Create efficiencies in the currently manual process and manage the cross-departmental team to ensure process can execute smoothly and repeatedly.
    • Innovate with Product to scope the requirements for building, maintaining, and supporting a platform-based approach (and product feature enhancements) to make commercialization, planning, and reconciliation a part of the automated workflow.
    • Liaise with agencies and clients about current process to capture pain-points and make process adjustments to improve the user experience and reduce error rates.
    • Align with Operations and Project Management teams to document the current process and identify opportunities for both near term and long-term improvements.
  • Promote :
    • Evangelize the differentiated benefits of EPC Audiences, proprietary data assets, and joint partner solutions that support EPC Activation.
    • Collaborate with audience strategists and data scientists to design Best Practices for the use of EPC Audiences.
    • Support Sales, New Business, and Client Teams as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EPC Audiences, commercial offerings, and the EPC activation process.
    • Lead and/or support training sessions with clients and agencies to educate teams on the pricing, reconciliation and reporting process.
    • Create necessary content to support training, education, and adoption.
Requirements
  • 8+ years professional experience in advertising, digital marketing, media planning, AdTech /MarTech or similar.
  • MS Excel (advanced)
  • Knowledge of digital media campaign activation and reconciliation process.
  • Autonomous decision-making & problem-solving to represent the best interests of Epsilon, clients, Publicis Groupe, and its agencies.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and process-minded; but also creative, flexible, and a strategic thinker.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Previous hands-on experience with DSPs (e.g. DV360, The Trade Desk), DMPs (Adobe Audience Manager, Salesforce DMP, Oracle DMP), Media Management (Prisma by Mediaocean), Social Network Ad Managers (Meta, Snap, TikTok), SSPs (Index Exchange, Magnite, PubMatic) and/or Data Onboarding (LiveRamp, Neustar) is a plus.
