Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing a high performing analytics team that is recognized for their analytical skills and known for their ability to solve difficult problems. The team serves as the center of excellence for the management and evolution of Epsilon's Digital Media measurement and performance platform. This role is a key partner in the identification and building of analytical tools that expand Account Analytics and Epsilon's capabilities.

Responsibilities:

· Serve as key Epsilon thought leader in aligning analysis, measurement, performance measurement and actionable insights around program optimization and strategy

· Lead analytics team focused on delivering marketing and customer insights to internal stakeholders

· Manage, coach and develop a team of technically savvy analytics professionals

· Educate internal teams about Epsilon's platform and product capabilities by translating complex concepts into meaningful stories supported by data

· Build/maintain a measurement platform and performance measurement center of excellence

· Capture the questions being asked by client marketers via collaborating with client-facing analytics partners to understand the types of analytical solutions that should be developed

· Define reusable analytical frameworks and supporting tools that have broad-based application across Epsilon Digital Media Services clients

· Lead/participate in the requirements definition, prototyping, and development of new analytical tools. Responsibilities include piloting usage with sample client set, training and rollout to broader Analytics teams.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in business, computer science, economics, marketing, mathematics, statistics or other related discipline preferred.
  • SQL programming experience required
  • Familiarity with other data tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau
  • Exposure to direct marketing analytics is preferred
  • Capable of presenting and explaining complex analytical methods to diverse groups of people
  • 8-10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience managing and developing analytics professionals of all levels
  • Ability to design and execute analyses using large record-level datasets, including, advertising impression, site visitation, and online and offline sales data, and to summarize findings into logical and defensible conclusions
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple internal teams and build strong partnerships
  • Possess strong leadership and communication skills including the ability to foster dialogue among internal groups
  • Ability to simultaneously project-manage several analytical workstreams from inception to completion
  • Experience in digital media execution and measurement including experimental test/control design
Preferred Knowledge & Skills:
  • Experience using digital measurement and reporting tools like Google DCM, Google Analytics, Adobe etc.
  • Understanding of MarTech and AdTech competitive landscape
  • Understanding of marketing measurement solutions (e.g. Media Mix Models, Fractional Attribution)
  • Experience working at media agency, media publisher or MarTech/AdTech company
  • Understanding of predictive modeling techniques
  • Knowledge of online advertising and online advertising methods, including remarketing and behavioral targeting
