Role Overview:

As a Director of Product Management, this position will manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to defining the product roadmap of Epsilon's priority email service platform. This position will guide a cross-functional team and is responsible for developing the product, as well as work with Epsilon's business leaders, to lead go-to-market initiatives for innovative and differentiated product offerings.

The ideal candidate should possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, the ability to translate market requirements into a product vision, and work side by side with engineering leadership to realize that vision. Additionally, this role will require the product leader to translate the product's value proposition and evolution for cross sell to sales, marketing, and client services teams to evangelize the benefits in the market. This position requires some travel to Epsilon or customer sites.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Play primary role in defining and driving the overall solution vision and supporting long-term Epsilon business strategy for the email platform.
  • Develop and manage the product roadmap, including the definition, prioritization and execution of the stream of product enhancements and operational improvements designed to enhance revenue and efficiency.
  • Work with clients, account management, sales and product marketing to identify market and client opportunities which warrant new product solutions
  • Work with business leaders from Epsilon Client, Sales and Marketing organizations to develop and turn market requirements into product functionality working with high performing engineering and platform teams through an agile practice
  • Create and communicate product vision and lead go-to-market initiatives for new product offerings while ensuring the positioning and packaging is in line with market requirements and growth.
  • Manage and evolve existing Product Management best practices strategy through execution including release, training and communication processes
  • Own the KPI Dashboard for the product line - including defining measures, setting goals, reporting on progress and recommending tactics to improve KPI's
  • Occasionally support sales in early stage account strategy and major client pursuits.
  • Participate with other product managers to develop best practices and become the owner of specific assigned best practices.
Requirements:
  • Background in email marketing, preferring working with an email service provider
  • Will be entrepreneurial and comfortable in a changing, fast growth, results-driven environment with prior experience in both large and small organizations.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organization, leadership, and customer service skills to communicate vision
  • Will have a powerful blend of business and technical savvy, including experience developing products using Agile methodology.
  • Will have a strong background in the software industry with significant experience in product management with a proven track record of managing products through the entire life cycle.
  • Will have a deep knowledge of data-driven marketing programs.
  • Ability to communicate vision to senior leadership
  • Has strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to function in both a self-motivated and team environment
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management or equivalent.
  • Industry knowledge and expertise in Mar Tech activation channels such as email, mobile-SMS and In App personalized targeting
  • Owned a product or solution from introduction through launch and into maturity.
  • Experience effectively influencing stakeholders and driving resolutions.
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills
  • BA/BS degree, advanced
