Job Overview:
To assist Commercial Placement Specialists on a daily basis. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Entry of new business accounts into Agency Management System & Salesforce.
- Generation of ACORD applications for new business and renewal accounts.
- Prepare account files in Image Right

- Obtain loss history from insurance carriers.
- Create Loss Run Summaries and Premium Loss Exhibit Reports for renewal accounts.
- Obtain and file support information as needed (Core Logic property valuations, MVRs, Experience Mods, etc.).
- Preparation of Statement of Values and or “COPE” spreadsheets.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Advanced knowledge of navigating the Internet as well as various Microsoft Office programs to include Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, TEAMS and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Agency Management Systems.
- Experience with Salesforce preferred.
- High sense of urgency and time management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong ability to multi-task and assign priority.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment as well as independently.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.
- Desire to learn new tasks/skills.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2+ years insurance agency experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Valid Driver License required.
- Insurance License Required.
Travel:
- Occasional travel as required for mandatory meetings and educational classes.
The national average salary for this role is $60,000 to $80,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
