Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our clients to transform business goals and user needs into content design strategies for digital experiences. Identify pain points and suggest improvements
- Work closely with product team members to define personas, map content to user journeys, model content, identify content gaps, and create UX copy at all stages of the user journey
- Contribute to information architecture, sitemaps, navigation, and content organization
- Craft user-friendly content for various platforms that align with the client's brand, values, tone, and meet business goals
- Develop copy guidelines supporting broader content strategy and UX goals
- Team up with cross-functional project teams to create narratives and copy for various digital assets
- Provide editorial feedback to the project team and fellow writers
- Collaborate with teams such as product management, design, and engineering to integrate content design and UX writing into the product development process
- Minimum of 5 years of professional content strategy/design experience (agency or in-house)
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, UX, or equivalent
- Strong experience in user-focused digital product writing with a portfolio of English UX-focused writing samples
- Proficiency with Figma
- Experience working on multi-disciplinary teams
- Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills for explaining your work to team members and stakeholders
- Comfortable collaborating with clients to understand their business and translate it into user-centered copy
- Proficient in using quantitative and qualitative data to guide editorial choices
- Familiar with defining editorial processes and workflows
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Knowledgeable about information architecture, taxonomy, content models, and content migration
- Experience evaluating content against accessibility and SEO best practices
- Experience overseeing the content design and UX writing process for individual clients
- Experience conducting usability testing and surveys to track the effectiveness of content design and UX writing
