As a Test Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing test strategy for web and mobile applications. You will define test plans and test cases in a highly collaborative mode with the Product team partially located in Geneva and in Ukraine (non-EPAM). The application is a mobile sign-on tool used by all the bank's clients who use the mobile banking app worldwide.

  • Implement process improvements and company best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the product testing process
  • Own, define and implement the product test strategy: objectives, scope, and approach to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with project goals
  • Collaborate with products team members to identify, establish, and implement, all (& only) accurate test cases for new features ensuring they verify and validate user scenarios and business requirements
  • In accordance with Test Strategy, ensure that test cases are automated when needed, maintain the level of test automation and ensure that existing automated test cases remain up do date (Tosca)
  • Ensure at the end of each release that regression testing is up to date: clean up obsolete tests and integrate new feature tests
  • Define appropriate test campaigns in the Client's tool (manual and automated) and follow test executions
  • Coordinate and perform testing schedule to ensure test outcome, identify any issues and collaborate with the team to address them
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of product testing process, tracking testing milestones and ensuring adherence to established timelines
  • Communicate and report on testing progress, results, and other relevant product quality metrics to the Release Manager and the Product Manager, keeping stakeholders informed of the testing status
  • Follow Test and Quality KPIs on the product with product team members, define action plan when needed
  • Contribute to Release Management process follow-up and enhancement
Requirements
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in software testing and quality assurance
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks
  • Experience in Product Testing as Test Engineer and/or Automation engineer, preferably in a software development environment
  • Familiar with agile methodologies
  • Certification such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders at various levels
  • Being proactive at finding solutions to testing challenges and troubleshooting issues that arise during the testing process
  • Familiarity with testing techniques to ensure user experience, especially on existing functionalities
  • Fluent English and French skills are needed
