Senior Test Automation Engineer

Río Grande, Mexico

Strong automation engineer, attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision/control after onboarding stage, manages own time effectively, i.e. confident, responsible, effective, dedicated, and proactive engineer. Will work in the distributed team.

Responsibilities

  • Define, design, and implementation of Test Automation Solutions
  • Participate in setting up Automated Testing Environment for multiple application platforms
  • Design and build automated test cases as per product requirements
  • Translate manual regression test cases into automated test scripts
  • Lead/execute testing for large-scale, web applications tools or software
  • Advocate best practices to team members and development teams
  • Leverage existing Automation Frameworks to build new test scripts while maintaining existing test scripts as per product requirements
  • Collaborate with Development leads, Product Managers, and other teams to ensure the highest quality of the product by architecting automation focused solutions

  • 3 or more years of experience in defining, developing, and owning test automation infrastructure for a large enterprise
  • Experience in functional testing: creation of test cases, tracking them, reporting and so on
  • Fluency in languages, frameworks, and tools for automated testing solutions such as Robot Framework and Python/React/Node
  • Ability and interest in developing test automation frameworks from scratch
  • Be able to contribute to building continuous integration and deployment solutions that served large software engineering organizations
  • Experience in Web UI and API testing
  • Knowledge of advanced SQL and relational database concepts
