What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the distributed engineering team, BA and the client for a better understanding of the client's needs and how this can be achieved
- Participate actively in all phases of the development lifecycle, contributing to both the conceptualization and execution of a project
- Be tasked with the creation of innovative solution designs and lead their implementation
- Compose well-structured, testable and efficient code, maintaining a standard of excellence in your programming output
- Follow already established best practices while also demonstrating initiative in identifying areas of potential process improvement
- Proficiency in Java and familiarity with Maven build automation tool
- Hands-on experience with various AWS services, including S3, ECS, ECR, and MSK
- Practical experience with CI/CD solutions, notably Bitbucket (git) and Bamboo or Jenkins
- In-depth understanding of Apache Kafka
- Familiarity with Confluent Schema Registry and Kafka Connect
- Experience working with the Docker container platform
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
- B2+ English, both verbal and written
- AWS Certification, which will underscore your competency in cloud solutions
- Familiarity with Scala and sbt build tool
- Knowledge of Avro serialization framework and Avro IDL
- Professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Big Data, Data Warehouse, ETL processes, or Data Mesh
- Experience with Stonehenge for service-oriented architecture
