Senior Security Systems Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Security Systems Engineer to play a pivotal role in our Sitecore XM Cloud project.
The position requires implementing industry-leading security practices, ensuring compliance, and proactively managing threat detection to maintain a high level of application and cloud security. As a client-facing role, excellent English communication skills are mandatory.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with security regulations through regular audits, client questionnaires, and adherence to threat modeling requirements
• Monitor for security threats and vulnerabilities using SIEM, SAST & DAST scanning, OSS; respond swiftly to security incidents
• Guide developers to incorporate secure coding practices, including thorough code reviews and vulnerability assessments
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate robust security measures within CI/CD pipelines and deployment procedures
• Work closely with client security teams to establish and maintain efficient formats and flows for SIEM solutions

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on application security
• Demonstrated proficiency in using security tools and technologies for threat detection, prevention, and response
• Strong background in vulnerability scanning, threat modeling, and penetration testing
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, threat models, and risk assessment methodologies
• Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction and security guidance provision to development teams

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud security practices, especially in Azure, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption
