We are looking for a Senior / Lead Go Language Developer to join a project for our client - an athletic brand corporation - supporting their digital engineering processes.
Please note that the on-call duty on a week shift is expected on the role, either 24/7 every 6-7 weeks or 12/7 every 4-5 weeks.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain software using Golang, with a focus on building efficient and scalable applications
- Manage and deploy application on Kubernetes, ensuring optimal performance and stability
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the platform meets the requirements and supports the development needs
- Participate in on-call duty, providing support and resolving issues as they arise
- Monitor the performance and condition of the production platform, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks
- Work closely with the team to design and implement Kubernetes operators for efficient application management
- Use Crossplane to improve and automate infrastructure provisioning and management
- Design and develop RESTful APIs, adhering to best practices for performance, security, and scalability
- Utilize Swagger to produce REST clients and documentation, facilitating user-friendly access for other teams or external stakeholders

- 3+ years of experience in Golang development
- 5+ years of software engineering expertise
- Practical knowledge of running applications on Kubernetes
- Familiarity with writing Kubernetes operators
- Experience with Crossplane
- Skills in writing restful APIs
- Knowledge of the utilization of swagger to generate REST clients
