Senior Golang Engineer - Hybrid

United States

We are looking for a highly technically proficient Go software API/backend expert for a hybrid role in Sunrise, FL (3 days per week in office)., a person who has the system type of thinking and the Solution Architecture mindset. You will work among high-performing engineering, design, and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a core member of an agile team that drives user story analysis and elaboration, designs and develops software applications
  • Perform hands-on software development and testing, typically spending 90% of time writing code, and API specs, conducting code reviews and testing in ongoing sprints, or doing proof of concepts/automation tools
  • Identify new contact channel technologies to evaluate and implement into existing call management solutions
  • Drive consistent development practices - tools and common components
  • Develop a deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the supported domains
  • Identify exciting opportunities for adopting new technology to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges

  • Strong Go knowledge, including understanding of syntax, idioms, and best practices
  • Familiarity with concurrency in Go, using goroutines and channels for effective concurrent and parallel processing
  • Performance optimization for increasing efficiency and minimizing memory usage of applications
  • Command Line/ System Development - Experience in developing operating system level Go Lang apps or Command Line Apps using urfave, Cobra, Viper etc
  • Web development, including building web services and RESTful APIs, and experience with web frameworks like Gin or Echo
  • Critical thinking for debugging and resolving complex coding issues
  • Collaboration skills for working effectively in a team and communicating ideas clearly
  • Good to have: Web Assembly knowledge working with TinyGo, WASI interface, WASMTime or equivalent runtime
  • 3 days at the office
