What You'll Do
- .NET Development: Strong experience in developing and maintaining applications using .Net, preferably with experience in deploying .Net applications on Linux environments (mono)
- Linux Expertise: Proficient in embedded Linux development, including kernel configuration, system optimization, and troubleshooting
- Firmware Development: Experience in firmware development and understanding of firmware architecture, particularly for telecommunication and tracking devices
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in C# and experience with C or C++. Knowledge of bash and Python for scripting and automation
- Networking and Communication Protocols: understanding of Bluetooth protocol, basic understanding of mobile communication protocols and GPS, experience with LTE modems
- 3-5 years of experience in embedded Linux and application development
- Previous experience with vehicle diagnostic tools, telematics, or related automotive technologies
- Experience in working with OBD-II protocols and understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems (knowledge of PIDs is beneficial)
- Familiarity with the hardware-software interface, especially in the context of vehicle telematics devices
- Experience with ARM architecture and Cortex-A, Cortex-M processors
- Experience with cross-compilation and related build tools such as yocto and buildroot
