Responsibilities

  • Alongside other EPAM members such as Account Managers, Project Managers, and Solution Architects, you will lead the initiation, planning, and execution of complex, multidisciplinary projects (often united in a program), while ensuring EPAM delivery standards are met
  • Work with business stakeholders, executive leadership, and EPAM delivery team to define the Product Delivery Roadmap
  • Create (or adjust existing) development standards
  • Hire skilled teams based on project landscape and complexity
  • Be able to dig into any issue within the delivery organization and provide necessary leadership to the team to find optimal solutions (architecture, project management, business analysis, Agile questions, quality assurance, etc.)
  • Lead, coordinate, and drive the decision-making process for key technology decisions
  • Align EPAM and Client architecture teams; act as a mediator to find a compromising decision where needed
  • Develop, maintain, and update integrated project/program plans, and ensure alignment of these plans across functions and with team leadership
  • Track and communicate with key client stakeholder roadmap execution status. Provide transparency for any changes in delivery dates (reasons, risks exploded, mitigation plan)
  • Lead cross-functional analysis, technology, and quality assurance teams to achieve key program objectives within a portfolio
  • Establish effective, accurate, appropriate, and timely communication within cross-functional teams to achieve key program objectives
  • Provide updates on key issues and progress to Sr. Management both within EPAM and at the client
  • Proactively identify issues and provide general guidance to resolve program and team challenges
  • Develop practical solutions to achieve program productivity and quality goals and objectives
  • Develops, maintains, and updates integrated project/program plans, and ensures alignment of these plans across functions and with team leadership
  • Maintain knowledge of current status, milestones, issues, and key data for assigned programs and serve as the conduit of information and updates
  • Provide input and general guidance to the team for presentations and updates to management and outside collaborators where applicable
  • In collaboration with senior team members, you will assist in formulating and executing the strategy for advancing EPAM programs to successful completion
  • Identifies opportunities for standardization of processes and working best practices as well as recommends a plan for implementation
  • Remains aware of any potential problems and works to mitigate any risks

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Strong background in Software Delivery Management and Solution Architecture
  • Must have experience leading complex delivery of software engineering services in a Professional Services capacity. Experience with Retail, CPG, Hi-Tech, or other customers requiring similar levels of complexity and quality required
  • Experience in establishing and managing a multi-project setup
  • Experience working in a pre-sales environment from solutions to client communication highly desired
  • Knowledge of software development/Product lifecycle, methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall), and IT roles
  • Must be able to manage both tactically and strategically
  • Excellent business communication and time management skills required
  • Candidate should have strong project or program management skills in a highly technical environment
  • A thorough understanding of how to plan, resource, and deliver large-scale technical projects
  • Experience with leading large global teams
