Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and deploy data platforms at scale in both public and private clouds
  • Provide support in the client's decision-making process by being a trusted technical advisor
  • Guide customers on establishing their data practice on an enterprise level by analyzing their data strategy, data governance, data architecture, master data management and data quality management
  • Drive and execute technical streams of data strategy engagements
  • Educate clients on modern technologies, architecture and approaches for data & analytics by explaining their value for business
  • Lead discovery sessions & customer's workshops as well as present the proposed solutions
  • Understand client's business problems and propose technical solutions to address them
  • Define common business and development processes as well as platform and tools usage for data acquisition, storage, transformation, and analysis
  • Communicate different solutions and technology options by articulating short and long-term consequences & the impact on client business
  • Develop roadmaps and implementation strategies around data & analytics initiatives
  • Review and audit existing solutions, designs, and the system architecture
  • Create proposals for implementation and design of scalable data platform architecture
  • Explain proposed solutions to multiple level of stakeholders
  • Perform maturity level assessment of client's data capabilities & create architecture documentation

  • Extensive experience working as a Solution Architect with strong background in data & analytics
  • Highly skilled in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise scale data platforms
  • Expert with big data technologies and frameworks such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark, Kafka
  • Experience with Big Data solutions developed in large Azure cloud computing infrastructures
  • Exposure to Machine Learning, Recommendation Engines, Search Personalization and Deep Learning
  • Strong understanding of client-driven large-scale implementation projects
  • Knowledge of design patterns, refactoring concepts, unit tests, and CI/CD
  • Background in programming and knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, Python or Scala
  • History of working within Technology consulting
  • Ability to lead & manage teams with a deep understanding of Agile (Scrum) and common SDLC practices
  • Practical expertise in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems analysis and troubleshooting
  • Comfortable with up to 20% travel
