ABOUT THE ROLE

As one of the world's leading digital transformation service providers, we are looking to actively expand our Data Practice across Europe to meet increasing client demand for our services. We are open to hiring people at Manager or Senior Manager level within the Data & Analytics/Data Science Consulting Practice with a specific focus on Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and responsible AI practices.

This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting responsible AI practices. Its a highly visible role in the center of our Data Analytics practice whilst partnering closely with multiple clients across various industries and our Data leadership teams globally.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and oversee AI governance frameworks, focusing on regulatory compliance and ethical AI principles
  • Lead the process of taking AI/ML models from development to production, ensuring robust MLOps practices
  • Monitor and manage model performance, including addressing issues related to explainability, data drift and model drift
  • Engage with senior executives, effectively communicating AI risks and strategies in accessible terms
  • Collaborate with legal teams to navigate AI regulatory risks, particularly in the context of the EU AI regulatory framework
  • Develop and execute fairness and bias assessments, particularly for high-risk models (e.g., HR-related models)
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory changes impacting AI/ML
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a data scientist with a focus on AI/ML governance and responsible AI practices
  • Strong understanding of ML Ops principles and experience in model deployment and management
  • Ability to articulate complex AI risks and strategies to non-technical stakeholders, including senior executives
  • Experience working with legal teams on AI regulatory compliance, particularly with frameworks like the EU AI regulations
  • Expertise in identifying and mitigating fairness and bias in AI/ML models
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML tools and platforms such as Azure, Databricks, MLFlow, Airflow and Plotly Dash
