DESCRIPTION

• Work with business subject matter experts to design and implement data models that support a variety of strategic data pathways
• Provide data modelling related subject matter expertise
• Support migration to new data models with corresponding migration tools and functionalities
• Review / Refine / Amend data modelling assets for different use cases
• Perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments
• Design quality technical solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to educate and raise awareness of the target data architecture and infrastructure

• 3 + years as a Data Modeller, as well as working in data focused roles
• Experienced user of enterprise data modelling tools: PowerDesigner (preferred), Erwin Data Modeler, Vault2, DbSchema Pro, ER/Studio or similar
• Experience of various data modelling techniques: UML Class diagrams (preferred), ERD
• Exposure to Data Products, covering both data modelling and technical design
• Strong SQL experience
• Very good communication skills and ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders

• Knowledge of data mesh
• Experience in the financial industry or knowledge of financial data concepts
