Senior Cloud Security Engineer

For our Client, a British multinational asset management company based in London, we are looking for a security enthusiast, ready to provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in cloud environments.

What You'll Do

• Provide technical leadership and deep expertise in cloud environments like Azure and AWS on an enterprise scale, complemented by a comprehensive understanding of cloud engineering and familiarity with security best practices standards, compliance and regulations
• Work across various cloud security domains such as Cloud Security Posture Management, Identity and Access Management, Data Protection and its application, Data Loss Prevention, Incident Response Automation, SaaS, PaaS, Microservice Security, and custom scripting related to it
• Plan, design and implement security solutions for multi-cloud systems and workloads with public cloud providers (Azure, AWS)
• Cooperate closely with related teams such as engineering, infrastructure, development, database, operations, and so forth

• Hands-on experience with MS Sentinel, Plunk, KQL and Azure Cloud
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Expertise in security practices with any domain at an enterprise scale
• Proficiency with Microsoft public cloud services and strong engineering background
• Understanding of cloud security, and associated evaluation methodologies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other project team members such as Developers, Compliance Analysts, Business Analysts, Testers, Architects, Managers, and Endpoint Engineers
• Capacity to follow and understand a defined security process, educate fellow team members, and contribute to process improvement
• Scripting experience in either Python, JavaScript or PowerShell

• Familiarity with Office 365 operations and general email security practices
• Proficiency with CSPM tools like Defender for Cloud and Palo Alto Prisma
• Understanding of concepts of DevOps and its evaluation techniques
• Practical knowledge of services offered by public cloud providers (Azure, AWS)
• Expertise in security engineering within domains such as IAM, SOC, and DLP
• Understanding of at least one compliance/regulation such as ISO 2700x / PCI DSS / HIPAA / HITRUST / GDPR / SOX / FedRAMP
• At least one Security Certification such as AZ-900, AZ-103, AZ-500, MS-500, MS-100, MS-101, AWS certified security specialty
• Professional Security Certifications, for example, CISSP, CCSK / SSCP
• Experience in ServiceNow integration, Azure DevOps, and administration
