Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, debug, and modify components of machine learning/ deep learning systems and applications
  • Support Data/ETL and feature engineering pipelines
  • Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and product managers during the development of assigned components
  • Prototype creative solutions quickly by developing minimum viable products
  • Drive continuous improvement within the agile development team
  • Actively participate in group technology reviews to critique the work of self and others
  • Communicate and work with geographically distributed cross-functional teams

  • Ability to write robust code in one or more languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
  • Extensive experience working with core technologies like Spark, Hadoop, and Hive
  • Hands-on with building real-time applications in Spark and streaming platforms such as Kafka and Kinesis
  • Strong understanding of machine learning pipelines and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Familiar with cloud services like AWS, Azure, and workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow
  • History using SQL for querying data from relational tables
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an aptitude for troubleshooting issues
