What You'll Do

  • Manage innovative analytical solutions using Big Data related technologies
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and help drive decisions
  • Build partnerships with architects and key individuals within other functional groups
  • Analyze the business problems and technical environments and use this report in designing quality technical solutions
  • Participate in code review and test solutions
  • Write project documentation
  • Build a high-performance engineering culture, mentor team members and provide with the tools and motivation

  • Competency in software development with Big Data technologies
  • Experience in designing, deploying and administering Cloud systems
  • Proficiency in Cloud-based data pipeline development
  • Background in Cloud Service Lines:
    • AWS: AWS Glue, EMR, S3, Redshift, Kinesis, Databricks, AWS Lake Formation
    • Azure: Data Lake, Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory
    • GCP: DataFlow, GCS, BigQuery, Dataproc, Cloud Composer
  • Knowledge if object-oriented/object function scripting language: Python, Java, Node.js
  • Expertise in Big Data Stacks such as Spark & Spark Streaming
  • Familiarity of building data ingestion pipelines (simulating Extract, Transform, Load workload), Data Warehouse or Database architecture
  • Experience with data modeling; hands-on development experience with modern Big Data components
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices
  • Flexibility to work with Snowflake
Nice to have
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Experience in direct customer communications
  • Qualifications in team leading of data-oriented projects
  • Understanding of distributed computing principles
