Description

We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with JavaScript (Node.js) to join us. As an integral part of our DevOps team, you'll play a pivotal role in facilitating the seamless delivery of our software products. Your responsibilities will encompass designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process, as well as deploying and managing applications to ensure optimal availability and performance.

What You'll Do
  • Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines tailored for our Next.js frontend application
  • Automate application deployment processes, ensuring smooth deployments across different environments
  • Collaborate with development teams to set up and maintain efficient local development environments
  • Optimize infrastructure and tooling to support scalability, reliability and performance
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members on best practices for CI/CD, deployment and local development setups
What You Have
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript (Node.js) for automation tasks
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity CI/CD)
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., AWS ECS, HashiCorp Nomad, Kubernetes)
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Ability to work with version control systems, particularly Git
  • Flexibility to use monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and the ELK stack
  • Track record in working with Next.js or similar frontend framework
  • Experience in cloud platforms, particularly AWS
  • Understanding of networking and security principles in a cloud environment
