We are looking for a Database Administrator with MS SQL to join a dedicated Agile embedded team that supports a rapidly growing business, continuously improving its bespoke end-to-end solutions, and interactively working with users to enable them to meet the needs of their clientele. As a development team, we are just as passionate about producing optimal business solutions as we are in technology.
This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client's office in Wroclaw (with a flexible number of hours in the office and possibility to cluster remote workdays, provided required number of days in the office per month is fulfilled).

  • Manage and optimize database solutions to meet business needs, ensuring performance and reliability
  • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain database-driven applications
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations for new software initiatives
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, ensuring high-quality, efficient code
  • Implement and manage backup, recovery strategies, and monitor database performance
  • Collaborate with teams to design and improve database architecture
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator with expertise in MS SQL
  • Strong understanding of database architecture, schema design, and normalization
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries
  • Experience with backup and recovery strategies and database monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with networking, hardware, and storage configurations for databases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
