Consultant Quality Assurance (m/f/d)

We're looking for a hybrid Consultant Quality Assurance to join our team in Germany.

This role requires a combination of leadership and management, balancing the ability to keep an eye on detail whilst ensuring progress towards larger business objectives. To succeed, you will need a mix of both technical competence and a firm background in quality and project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective testing strategies and methodologies to ensure the quality and reliability of software products
• Provide expert consulting services to clients on testing best practices, quality assurance processes and test automation solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, define test plans and execute test cases
• Analyze testing results and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve product quality and performance
• Manage client accounts and portfolios, including project planning, resource allocation and stakeholder communication
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in software testing, quality assurance and test automation technologies
• Think out of the box with new approaches and strategies
• Familiarity with wide range of testing capabilities incl. crowd testing and using AI in testing is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools and processes
• At least 3 years of experience in consulting, with proven expertise in developing strategies and managing client relationships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus
• Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA are desirable
