Responsibilities
- Successful deployment and operationalization of Azure Virtual Desktop in partnership with platform and product engineering teams
- Implement necessary automation specific to applications for software deployment and routine maintenance tasks
- Implement required observability using DataDog for supportability of Azure Virtual Desktop
- Assist as needed in performance testing efforts to validate new environments with a focus on SRE (Site Reliability Engineering)
- Cross-train and facilitate knowledge transfer to the new TR team being established
- Working knowledge of Azure services
- Working knowledge of Azure automation practices / CI/CD
- Working knowledge of DataDog
- Familiarity with Active Directory
- Working knowledge of server provisioning with Azure
- Experience in troubleshooting Java and Windows-based applications in Azure
- Working knowledge of Azure Files (deployment and management)
- Training and documentation skills
