• Join a dynamic mobile team, utilizing the latest technologies and developing ever-improving strategies to deliver high-quality code
• Own the development and quality of the features being implemented on our Android app
• Participate in code reviews to assess overall code quality and flexibility while applying good object-oriented programming techniques
• Drive continuous improvement and delivery in our agile software development process
• Write automated unit, system, and acceptance tests as appropriate to support our continuous integration pipelines
• Translate functional specifications into logical, component-based technical designs
• Work closely in a collaborative environment with other talented developers, both locally and from various Expedia offices around the world

• A passion for mobile development and creating world-class applications
• Experience with the Android environment, developing features in Java or Kotlin, and using API service connection paradigms
• Familiarity with mobile development best practices, as well as emerging technologies such as Jetpack Compose and GraphQL
• Understanding of client/server architectures and a passion for the entire app development lifecycle
• A skilled software engineer who thrives on diverse challenges
