Responsibilities

  • Global Strategy & Development - Lead the global strategy, conceptual development, and tactical direction for physical branded environments across various locations (airports, rail stations, branches, administrative sites, tradeshows, events, and vehicles).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to address business, operational, customer experience, and market-specific needs, ensuring a consistent global brand presence with local adaptations.
  • Market Analysis & Brand Excellence - Analyze and interpret research on brands, marketplace conditions, and trends to enhance branded environments and drive brand excellence.
  • Agency & Vendor Guidance - Guide agencies, vendors, and internal teams on branded environment strategy and development, ensuring alignment with overarching brand strategy and business objectives.
  • Governance & Training Development - Develop global governance structures, tools, and training to ensure brand guidelines are accessible and consistently applied across key stakeholders.
  • Local Partnership & Site Visits - Partner with local groups to address unique site-specific needs; conduct site visits as needed.
  • Team Management & Development - Manage and develop a team of branded environment professionals, providing advanced support for complex local market needs.
  • Stakeholder Alignment & Process Optimization - Gain leadership and stakeholder alignment on strategies, process enhancements, and implementation efficiencies.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting - Develop team KPIs and reporting structures to measure success and identify trends and opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental/Industrial Design, Architecture or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in branded environment design, commercial interior design, or related field with demonstrated success translating Brand into the physical experience
  • Experience leveraging data to inform design decisions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of design principles, space planning, color trends, furniture, materials, signage design, production and construction processes
  • Experience in development and management of branded environment guidelines, driving governance and collaboration for large-scale implementation
  • 3+ years experience successfully leading and motivating a team
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and 3D design tools
  • Experience with client-side agency or vendor management experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Preferred:

  • Travel, transportation or hospitality industry experience preferred
