The Manager - IT Infrastructure Services is responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure across on-premises and public cloud platforms. This role ensures availability, security, scalability, and performance of infrastructure services, covering data centers, networks, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud environments, and end-user computing. The manager will lead a team of infrastructure professionals and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to align infrastructure strategy with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Strategy & Planning

- Define and execute hybrid infrastructure strategies combining on-premises and public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Drive cloud adoption, migration, and optimization in line with business goals.
- Conduct capacity planning, scalability assessments, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.


Operations & Service Management

- Manage day-to-day IT infrastructure operations (data centers, networks, storage, virtualization, and cloud services).
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and disaster recovery/business continuity across both on-prem and cloud environments.
- Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and IT service management practices (ITIL framework).
- Oversee cloud subscription, cost management, and vendor/service provider governance.


Client Engagement & Service Delivery

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear, timely, and professional communication throughout project lifecycles. Build strong relationships and proactively address client needs and concerns .
  • Understand client requirements and translate them into effective infrastructure solutions.
  • Present architecture designs, project plans, and service reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely resolution of client issues and maintain high levels of satisfaction.

Presentation Skills

- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to clients and internal stakeholders, articulating technical concepts, project updates, and business value in a clear and compelling manner.

Public Cloud Expertise (AWS & GCP)

Demonstrate working knowledge of public cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Oversee cloud migration projects and ensure best practices are followed for security, compliance, and performance 1 2 .

VMware & Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE)

Possess foundational understanding of VMware virtualization technologies and Google Cloud VMware Engine. Support migration and integration initiatives involving hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Migration Experience

Apply basic migration experience to plan, coordinate, and execute migration activities. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful transitions of workloads and applications to cloud or virtualized platforms.

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cloud and migration professionals.

- Allocate resources, set goals, monitor performance, and foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment .
- Build cloud capability within the team through upskilling and certifications.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application development, cybersecurity, and DevOps.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, automation, continuous improvement and innovation.


Budget & Cost Management

- Develop and manage IT infrastructure budgets, including cloud subscription/consumption costs.
- Optimize costs through right-sizing, cloud cost governance, and vendor negotiations.


Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive IT experience with IT infrastructure and Cloud Management roles.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure domains: networking, servers, storage, virtualization, end-user computing, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP). - GCP and AWS ( Mandatory)
- Proven expertise in managing hybrid cloud infrastructure and cloud migration projects.
- ITIL certification required; cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Architect, etc.) strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


Tools Proficiency:

  • Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
  • Terraform: Utilize Terraform for infrastructure-as-code deployments, automating cloud resource provisioning and management
  • GitHub: Manage code repositories, enable version control, and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub
  • ServiceNow: Oversee IT service management processes, incident, change, and problem management using ServiceNow and integrated platforms
  • ITSM Process Understanding: Demonstrate a strong grasp of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and processes, ensuring efficient service delivery, incident resolution, and change management
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application development, cybersecurity, and DevOps.
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
