Business Unit Description:
Enovis Canada
Job Title/High Level Position Summary:
Performs tasks necessary for the shipping and receiving of goods to/from domestic and international destinations. Processes the return of goods to Enovis Canada. Conducts all product warranty repairs and remakes. Knowledge will include procedures for Purolator, Fed Ex, UPS and import/export logistics. As well as knowledge of Custom brace measuring technique.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pulls products from stock to fill orders.
- Affixes overlay labels to products as needed.
- Packs and verifies order and affixes address/shipping labels.
- Weighs and costs all outgoing materials in an accurate and reliable manner, with assurance that costing is appropriate to mode of transportation specified in shipping order.
- Takes accurate inventory of stock levels.
- Assures materials go out with carrier specified in shipping order.
- Routes all daily paperwork to next responsible party in predetermined timely fashion.
- Responsible for restocking to maintain first-in, first-out.
- Assures good housekeeping goals are met.
- Assists in training of others as required.
Other Job Functions
Performs other related duties as assigned.
For internal and external Relationships
Daily contact with shipping companies, customs brokers and Enovis Canada internal staff.
Limits of Authority
All decisions made subject to the approval of the General Manager.
Education
High school or equivalent.
Experience
Two years prior experience in a high-volume shipping department preferred.
Physical
Requires standing 90% of time; reaching 50% of time; lifting/carrying 20% of time; walking 50% of time; squatting/bending 30% of time and pushing/pulling 20% of time.
Manual Dexterity
Requires digital dexterity to operate computer keyboard.
Audible/Visual demands
Must be able to communicate both verbally and visually with co-workers and supervisor. Must be able to read requirements on the order.
