Job Title/High Level Position Summary:

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Technician to support inspection, testing, and acceptance activities across incoming materials, in-process components, and finished medical devices. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality through adherence to established quality control procedures and standards.
  • The Quality Technician will play a key role in verifying that components and finished goods meet predefined specifications and regulatory requirements. This position involves hands-on inspection work, documentation of results, and collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams to support consistent product quality and compliance.
  • The ideal candidate is highly organized, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of devices, raw materials, components, packaging, and finished goods according to quality procedures
  • Set up and execute basic inspection and testing processes while interpreting drawings, specifications, sketches, and work instructions
  • Test, sample, and troubleshoot components, electronic devices, and raw materials to ensure compliance with requirements
  • Determine acceptance, rejection, or escalation status of inspected materials and components
  • Utilize measurement tools and inspection equipment to verify product quality and specifications
  • Inspect workmanship, assembly quality, alignment, and installation accuracy
  • Document inspection results, record defects, and maintain accurate quality records
  • Perform final acceptance inspections of finished goods and ensure compliance with product standards
  • Support final assembly of product kits, including accessories and labeling as required
  • Ensure production output aligns with customer requirements and quality standards
  • Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives as assigned by Quality Management
  • Supports quality inspection activities across incoming, in-process, and finished goods stages
  • Works closely with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Production teams
  • Ensures compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Contributes to product release decisions and quality assurance processes

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 2+ years of relevant manufacturing or quality-related experience preferred
  • Ability to interpret technical documents including drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in medical device manufacturing or regulated environments preferred
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and quality measurement equipment
  • Experience supporting final inspection and product release activities
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy and consistency in inspection and documentation
  • Quality Focus: Maintains high standards for product safety and compliance
  • Execution: Completes inspections and tasks efficiently and reliably
  • Collaboration: Works effectively with manufacturing and quality teams
  • Problem Solving: Identifies and escalates quality issues appropriately
  • Adaptability: Responds effectively to changing priorities in a production environment
