Medical Education Inventory Specialist

The Medical Education Inventory Specialist will fulfill requests for the Medical Education Department's scheduled events. They will manage inventory levels, communicate with the Marketing Lab Coordinator to ensure proper setup of event requests, and contribute to improvement-related activities to enhance operational processes to provide exemplary customer service.

  • 9am-6pm Monday-Friday

Please note that occasional overtime until 8pm may be needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need.

  • Manage inventory receipt, including receiving products and inputting inventory data into the ERP system
  • Manage and organize all marketing inventory-related documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to fulfill requests entered in SmartSheets
  • Participate in continuous quality and performance improvement activities.
  • Manage marketing inventory activity in the inventory ERP system.
  • Package/ship marketing equipment for internal and external scheduled training events, seminars, workshops, etc.
  • Complete regular restock orders for Medical Education inventory.
  • Maintain organization of all equipment
  • Clean and disinfect returned workshop inventory per company procedures.

Required Education and Experience:

The following are the minimum qualifications that an individual will need to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous work experience in an inventory fulfillment position desired
  • Ability to articulate clearly, professional oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with little supervision
  • Previous work experience should demonstrate good interpersonal skills, self-motivation, flexibility, detail-oriented work style, professional appearance and attitude, and ability to communicate with customers/clients at all levels effectively.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality and sensitivity of customer records.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other general office equipment
  • Must have basic mathematical skills
  • Must have legible handwriting

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to tug, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds
  • Up to 5% of travel may be required
