About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our growing product team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in healthcare automation, is passionate about building impactful software products and eager to grow their career in product management. You will work cross-functionally to develop and optimize products that simplify complex healthcare workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Product Strategy Execution: Collaborate with Sr. Product Manager to break down high-level product strategies into detailed requirements and development plans.
- Define Product Requirements: Draft and maintain product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, and use cases that clearly convey product needs and business goals.
- User Research & Insights: Conduct and participate in user research, surveys, and usability testing to understand customer problems, validate solutions, and prioritize features.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze product usage metrics, A/B test results, and customer feedback to identify trends, track success metrics, and inform feature development.
- Agile Team Support: Actively contribute to Agile processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, QA, and business teams to ensure seamless product execution and delivery.
- Backlog Management: Help maintain a well-organized product backlog with clear priorities, ensuring tasks are development-ready and aligned with strategic goals.
- Quality Assurance: Partner with QA teams to develop test plans and participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure feature completeness and quality.
- Product Launch Support: Assist in product rollout activities including coordination, documentation, training, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication: Prepare updates, dashboards, and reports to share product status, timelines, and outcomes with leadership and relevant teams.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends, conduct competitor research, and identify opportunities to differentiate and enhance our offerings.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as a voice of the user throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring a customer-centric approach in every decision.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or related roles, preferably in healthcare technology or services.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for software products, user experience, and emerging technology trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
- Exposure to SaaS, mobile apps, or cloud-based platforms.
- Understanding of UX principles or experience collaborating with design teams.
- Technical background or experience working with software development teams.
