About the role:

As a Catering & Events Coordinator at Enova, you'll oversee our Chicago office’s cafeteria, ensuring it's clean and inviting. Your duties include managing kitchen operations, restocking supplies, and organizing events for smooth execution. You'll play a key role in our admin team, fostering collaboration and enabling our teams to focus on growth. This role is perfect for adaptable, inclusive, and organized individuals with a knack for proactive problem-solving in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service areas in the office, including kitchens, kitchenettes, and water stations.
  • Order breakfast catering for the entire office on Tuesdays, including setup and cleanup.
  • Conduct weekly inventory and restocking of snacks and beverages.
  • Collaborate with DEI and Communications teams to organize and host special events, such as happy hours, birthday parties, and lectures.
  • Create a welcoming environment for all guests, embodying inclusivity and respect.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in catering or inventory management within the food services or hospitality industry.
  • Available to work onsite during weekdays, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours/week).
  • Food Handler Certification is a plus (training provided if needed).
  • Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Skilled in Outlook email and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Excellent problem-solving ability, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to completing projects.
