This role is part of the Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Marketing Team and will report directly to the Marketing and Consumer Engagement Manager. The role will form an integral link between the Marketing and Sales and Online team as well as being a key contact for our retail partners.

The Asst. Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing Bobbi Brown's retailer / pure player trade marketing strategy for the UK & Ireland through effective communication, development and implementation of strategic plans. Working cross-functionally alongside Product Marketing, Sales and Online teams the Assistant Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for enhancing consumer experience and connection to brand, whilst driving sales through bespoke retailer activation plans.

The key focus areas for the role are:

• Building bespoke Retailer Trade Marketing Plans with the Product Marketing and Sales team in-line with retailer locations, target audience and retailer priorities

• Defining the Retailer promotional calendar; budgeting and managing associated costs

• Executing bespoke retailer activations (VM, GWP, events etc)

• Managing assortment strategies and differentiation across the retail estate

We are looking for someone who is passionate about beauty, a great collaborator and excited to work in an exciting fast paced environment. Ideally you would have Trade Marketing experience.

The role has a dotted line report; Marketing Co-Ordinator

WHAT THIS ROLE DOES

• Shape, manage and execute the retail partnership marketing strategy and promo calendar for key retail partners across the UK & Ireland

• Identify opportunities within each account making recommendations to achieve sales ambition and working collaboratively across functions including Sales, Online, Product Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Influencer Marketing, Paid Media, Content, CRM to activate opportunities across the 360

• Develop and implement retail event strategy

• Act as the point of contact between Brand and Visual Merchandising team for any retailer bespoke Visual Merchandising needs (i.e. new launch activation in particular retailer)

• Manage the Trade Marketing budget in partnership with Online team

• Drive the creation and delivery of the retailer strategy & plans within Retailer Strategy meetings for key retail partners

• Present Retail Marketing plans within internal cross-functional campaign planning meetings

• Be the brand guardian and champion for the brand across retailers, acting as the marketing point of contact for external trading/buying teams for key retailers

• Using insights into consumers' profile and behaviours define a compelling marketing strategy within key retailers to increase consumers' engagement and conversion for Bobbi Brown

• Build and execute any specific retailer activations for new launches with Product Marketing Team, and lead launch planning for retailer exclusive launches

• Own and build the retailer promo plans, aligning cross-functionally, to ensure a strong omnichannel plan vs prior year. Includes omnichannel GWP planning.

• Develop ad hoc retailer specific plans as necessary

• Lead the execution of new door and counter openings across the estate driving awareness and buzz within local area ensuring sales goals are achieved

• Analytics: conduct competitors audits and benchmarking, trend tracking to identify risks and opportunities with Business Analyst to shape retail marketing plans accordingly

• Track and analyse campaigns performance per key retailer to create a framework highlighting best practices

• Manage assortment offering for new counter & store openings & consistently manage assortment changes within key retailers with sales team

• Develop any local retailer exclusive sets, working closely with internal teams and external retail partners

• There may be other requirements to support the Product Marketing Team as necessary

• Support development of junior team (Marketing Co-Ordinator, dotted line report)

PROJECTS / WORK YOU WILL BE PART OF

• Create and execute a bespoke acceleration plan for key retailers to build brand equity and drive sales

• Strategic development and implementation of Bobbi Brown in-store events program, including holiday in-store events

• Leading the opening of new counters from a Marketing point of view

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THIS ROLE:

• Previous experience working as a Retail/Trade Marketing Manager, ideally within a related category

• Strong commercial outlook and an ability to drive revenue growth through marketing

• Strong project management experience

• Highly motivated and passionate about Trade Marketing

• Strong presenter being able to inspire our internal and retail partners on Bobbi Brown's new launches

• Solid understanding of analytics driving insight into action

• Experience of global brands an advantage

• Team player with excellent communication skills
