Associate, Global Ecommerce, MAC Cosmetics

The Associate, Global Ecommerce will support the MAC ecommerce teams on brand site and retailer.com asset management, brand site refresh support, and online marketing and merchandising needs. The role is responsible for ensuring the maintenance and integrity of campaign and product assets to successfully launch new collections and support international sales goals. The role is also responsible for evergreen hero campaigns and product assets for all MAC Online. This role reports to Manager, MAC Global Online Marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

PRODUCT/DATABASE/SITE SUPPORT

• Responsible for ongoing maintenance and update of the product database, including addition of new products (gather product details/images/copy) and continually monitoring/changing outdated information (e.g. discontinued products, etc.) for optimal site experience.

• Ensure that all campaign changes announced in marketing bulletins are correctly captured in new product worksheet and are communicated in a timely manner to all regional/local teams.

• Request and gather additional product information (benefits, usage, claims, product pairings) from product marketing, product development, and Artist Training & Development teams per regional/local requests as needed.

• Partner closely with product marketing and creative services to deliver creative request for ecommerce photo shoots in a timely manner.

• Own the process of product setup; from creating sku's in the product catalog to working with external teams to manage the brand.com/retailer.com image uploads

• Provide QA support during high-volume and sales-critical time periods.

• Serve as a global point-of-contact for all regional teams.

ASSET MANAGEMENT

• Partner closely with Online Manager to complete creative requests for brand sites and retailers; ensuring all regional requirements are captured.

• Partner closely with creative services team to track assets and enforce deadlines.

• Distribute all products assets (images, product descriptions) to regional partners prior to on-counter dates.

• Liaise with external production agency on global brand site page builds; attend weekly calls on upcoming collections in collaboration with global online manager.

• Optimize asset delivery process as needed based on regional/local feedback to create efficiencies.

MARKETING & MERCHANDISING STRATEGY

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure all necessary assets are requested into Global Creative Requests. Attending frequent meetings on these programs, answering daily questions on any checklist / program information coming from the cross functional teams.

• Support regional leads on asset needs for new brand site and retailer 360 launch plans, leveraging learnings from prior launches and defining opportunities based on local market nuances.

• Partner closely with Online Manager to deliver clear global merchandising guidance ahead of every campaign.

• Support online team on retailer.com and 3PP new business opportunities, optimization of existing tactics and guidance on how to win big during key online shopping events.

• Support global online team and regional teams from a reporting & analytics perspective as needed.

Qualifications

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required
  • 2+ years ecommerce and/or marketing experience
  • Must have strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Needs to be a creative thinker and problem solver, who thrives in fast paced environment, prioritizes and oversees multiple projects at once, and has attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable with a matrix reporting
  • Fluent in all Microsoft office applications, proficiency in Excel
  • Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with web analytics and reporting tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Looker)
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, excellent time management skills
  • Strong written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
  • Figma experience a plus

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,500 to $90,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
