Elastic is searching for a Regional Vice President of Commercial and Partner Sales (Melbourne based) to lead and expand our business, together with driving the partner-led strategy across Australia. Our RVPs are focussed on growing revenue through new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion, meeting and exceeding all sales targets and performance metrics, and working closely with our key partners and Master Distributor to onboard and grow new Resellers.

Are you an accomplished Sales Leader, having managed successful sales people in a dynamic market? Are you ready to help users tackle their hardest problems through the power of search? If so, we'd love to hear from you!
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Leading a team of Commercial Account Executives and Partner Sales Managers across Australia
  • Developing comprehensive knowledge of our technology platform, product messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitor landscape
  • Actively contributing to and owning sales plan creation, compensation structures, and customer segmentation
  • Help shape and evolve Elastic's Cloud and Partner Strategy, while implementing plans and execution in the A/NZ region.
  • Engagement with customers at the senior executive level to support the AEs and Partner Managers in multi-level selling
  • Ensuring the attainment of assigned sales quotas by 'leading from the front' and driving Elastic's sales methodology
  • Actively fostering an environment of teamwork, transparency, creativity, and continuous improvement
  • Key disciplines:
    • Hiring, Performance Management, Forecasting, Sales Process, Sales Execution, Pipeline Generation and Quarterly Business Reviews with the team
  • Ensuring that each individual team member's goals align with the overall strategy for the Commercial and Partner segment in Australia
  • Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with representatives of the Open Source community and partner ecosystems
  • Traveling occasionally to assist in deal creation and closure, as well as meet any managerial needs and provide support to your team as required
  • Partnering across Elastic's leadership community to ensure a seamless customer experience
What You Bring With You:
  • Min 5 + years experience managing Sales AND Partner teams
  • Consistent track record of leading teams to exceed quotas and objectives within a fast paced and technical client acquisition driven business
  • Strong SaaS sales leadership
  • Executive level relationships with key accounts
  • Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment
  • The ability to travel as needed (up to 15%)
