EF Education First is looking for a new Finnish Speaking Sales Trainee to join our Nordic Sales Trainee Program in Stockholm. Are you a traveler, innovator, doer, and thinker? Do you believe education can open the world? If so, this might be the role for you!
Synopsis
Our trainee program in Stockholm is a steppingstone to management in sales and marketing. This role teaches you the foundation of running a successful business, how to become a best seller and prepares you for an international career, whilst having fun at work. You will become part of a dynamic sales and customer service team and, depending on your results, you will have an opportunity to stay with the company after the completion of the 6 months’ program.

Your Responsibilities
As a trainee, you will be an important part of the team and contribute to a fast-growing, international business and its development. You will be challenged to show creativity, extraordinary drive, entrepreneurial spirit and high ambition. EF will invest in your development and expects you to invest energy and enthusiasm in EF and the trainee program.
Your job includes a diverse set of tasks ranging from guiding customers to the right EF product, to giving excellent customer service - in person, online and by phone. You will be representing EF at fairs, events and info meetings as well as prepare and execute events and meetings for our students and their parents. This is a hands-on role to inspire, motivate, screen and coach potential customers for our language programs. Since your customers are often based far from the office, phone and email will be very important tools for you, when proactively reaching out to new leads.
If you, after completion of the trainee program, move on to the role as a Junior Product Manager you take on a more senior role in the team and expand your responsibilities further.
You will be reporting to the Country Product Manager for Finland.
Skills
The position requires you to be goal-driven with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic. You should be self-motivated, and you understand the fine balance between sales efficiency and first-class customer service! You enjoy doing daily administrative routines as well as using your communicative skills in pitching our programs.
Basic Qualifications
- Full fluency in Finnish and English, both written and oral
- Sales experience and/or a great interest in learning proactive sales
- Team spirit combined with being competitive and results oriented
- Willingness to invest time and effort for the prospect of an international career
- Leadership abilities
- Experience of studying, working or extensive travelling abroad
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
