The Sales Operations Coordinator will be dedicated to handling specialized requests from the Sales and Service Teams at Go Ahead Tours. They will particularly focus on late reservations, operations requests and flight requests, as well as decreasing overall turnaround time with the customer. The goal of this role is to improve the request process by looking for trends and being a resource to the service and sales team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine your strengths in consulting, sales, analytics and relationship building to grow professionally with our Go Ahead Tours team.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Handling specialized requests from service and sales teams and contacting the traveler as updates occur.
  • Managing requests so they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Updating and training the teams regularly about proper expectation setting and specific regional rules.
  • Supporting the Inventory Analyst in handling canceled tours and rebooking travelers when needed.
  • Following up proactively with travelers on the Waitlist status to sell them on alternative options.
  • Working closely with the Sales Operations Manager & Inventory Analyst to gain insights on improving
  • strategy for requests, cancellations and rebooking’s.
  • Completing various projects to help increase our retention and rebooking rates.
  • Updating manager with weekly reports on trends, problems, and findings.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or sales
