In your role as a (Senior) Data Warehouse Engineer you will: 

• Collaborate with application teams to determine appropriate schema design and database platforms.
• Provide expert troubleshooting support and proactively improve database and server performance.
• Lead efforts to automate cloud operations and infrastructure, balancing cost and performance.
• Orchestrate the work for data developers (JIRA, Github, reviews, ...)
• Migrate and transform data to Snowflake.

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or Math or equivalent professional.
• 4+ years’ experience in Data Warehouse Engineering and Database Development.
• Knowledge of SQL Server Database Administrator (2014/2016/2019).
• Excellent SQL and strong hands-on scripting experience in implementation and performance tuning SQL databases.
• Experience designing database environments, analyzing production deployments, and making recommendations to optimize performance.
• Experience in SSIS.
• Basic knowledge of Kimball Dimensional Modeling.
• Preferably you have hands on experience in data warehousing design, tuning and ETL/ELT process developmentusing Matillion.
• Interest in Snowflake (data modelling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing complex stored Procedures or Tasks, ...)
