As a IT Operations Center Technician on the Secure Infrastructure and IT team, you'll play a pivotal role by being the first contact for our end users experiencing issues with their laptops or accessing systems critical to their responsibilities

In addition to an earnest desire to help people, we are looking for the ideal candidate to complement the team's existing talents. For this role, we are seeking a candidate with proven IT Operations Center monitoring experience as well as laptop/desktop support experience. If you are a self starter, have experience with monitoring tools and customer service focused, this may be an opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring: Monitoring and managing IT systems, applications, networks and laptops using various tools, including network management software, system management tools, and other monitoring tools.
  • Troubleshooting: Analyzing laptop, system and network issues and taking appropriate actions to resolve them. This may include escalating the issue to Level 2 or 3 support teams when necessary.
  • Documentation: Maintaining detailed documentation of incidents, issues, and resolutions in a knowledge base, ensuring that information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communication: Communicating with end-users, service providers, and other IT personnel regarding incidents, issues, and outages. You will be responsible for managing expectations and communicating progress throughout the incident resolution process.
  • Incident Management: Managing incidents from initiation to resolution in accordance with defined ITIL processes.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 Years of Experience
  • Experience with IT systems, applications, networks and laptops
  • Knowledge of ITIL and incident management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer service skills.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Network+ are preferred
