Job Description

Product Analytics

EcoVadis Product team, led by our Chief Product Officer, is responsible for overseeing the product strategy, solution roadmap, and cross-company coordination to drive commercial success of named products and add-ons. The Product and Solutions team develops scalable client solutions that enable all companies to effectively measure, manage and continuously improve their sustainable business practices. We provide industry-leading solutions for sustainability ratings, by evaluating & providing recommendations to improve environmental, social, ethical and procurement practices, while building a suite of solutions to help decarbonize supply chains around the world.

To further support the product growth and solution diversification strategy, we are strengthening our Product Analytics team through the recruitment of a Web Integration Analyst. As a member of the Product Analytics team, you will hold a key role by being the hands-on integration owner of the Web Analytics systems that allow us to understand user behavior and collect both quantitative and qualitative customer data.

What you’ll be doing every day:

  • Collaborate: with Product Managers & engineering teams to understand new feature implementation specificities and implement the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript tagging required to track user interactions.

  • Integrate: and work closely with our engineering teams to ensure that relevant customer dimensions and demographics are accurately passed to our web analytics tool (Pendo) to allow for robust customer segmentation.

  • Govern: and proactively maintain and improve our Pendo tagging schema to ensure it remains accurate and scalable as the product evolves.

  • Support: and act as a technical point of reference on web analytics, identifying and suggesting new technical solutions to solve challenges.

  • Orchestrate: the flow of data between key systems (web analytics tool, CDP, data platform), monitoring integration health and troubleshooting issues to ensure a reliable system integration.

  • Empower: the data engineering team by supporting the data ingestion from Pendo into Databricks to maintain fluid and up-to-date data pipelines.

  • Be: who you are and bring your true-self at work to add your uniqueness to a fun crew of data lovers (yes, this is a daily duty ;-) ). Ability to communicate in poignant gifs is a big plus.

Qualifications

Who you are

  • A professional who is comfortable working in both front-end code and data architecture.
  • An empathetic communicator that thrives in collaborative environments and wants to set your peers up for success.
  • A strong problem-solver with the diagnostic skills to debug complex, multi-system data flow issues.
  • An initiative-taker that likes environments with responsibilities, and the space to express & act on your own ideas.
  • A meticulous, detail-oriented individual with a deep-seated commitment to ensuring data integrity from the point of capture.

What you need to succeed

  • Expert-level proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with a web analytics platform (Pendo preferably, though relevant experience with competitors like Hotjar, Mixpanel, Amplitude or Google Analytics is valuable).
  • A solid understanding of APIs for troubleshooting system integrations.
  • Familiarity with CDPs and Tag Management Systems.
  • A strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CNIL) and their practical implementation in data collection.
  • Some SQL and/or Python skills are valued, or willingness to learn.
