We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting field of procurement, contributing to the efficient and compliant sourcing of goods and services for our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and a commitment to accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the procurement team with various administrative and operational tasks.
- Data Entry: Accurately input procurement-related data into relevant systems, including vendor information, purchase orders, contracts, and delivery schedules.
- Data Management: Support the organization, maintenance, and retrieval of procurement data to ensure data integrity and accessibility for reporting and analysis.
- Assist with the creation and processing of purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Support vendor communication, including inquiries about order status, delivery, and documentation.
- Conduct basic market research to identify potential suppliers and product alternatives.
- Compliance Documentation Management: Organize, file, and maintain critical compliance documentation, such as vendor agreements, certifications, and audit trails, ensuring easy retrieval and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Assist in tracking and monitoring supplier performance metrics.
- Support the preparation of procurement reports and presentations.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the procurement department.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to identify discrepancies, maintain accuracy in records, and ensure thoroughness in all tasks.
- Analytical Approach: Demonstrated capability to analyze information, identify patterns, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and eager to learn about procurement processes and best practices.

- Location: Barcelona
- Working hours: 40 hours per week
- You must be living and studying in the location advertised
- Office attendance is expected
