As a Sales Development Representative at Fastmore, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth and expanding our client base. We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented individual who can leverage their industry knowledge, network, and business development skills to identify and secure new opportunities. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and executive leadership, to ensure the successful implementation and execution of strategic initiatives.

This is a fully remote role with domestic travel 25% of the time

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and target potential domestic and international freight forwarders.
  • Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging opportunities.
  • Engage with prospects through various channels, such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and conferences, to create meaningful connections and promote our services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers, influencers, and industry partners.
  • Provide Regular reports and updated on business development activities, sales pipeline and revenue forecast to the management team

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales within the transportation and 3PL logistics industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of transportation and 3PL logistics services, including freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of the industry's competitive landscape, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Exceptional negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
