Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Weekend Shift - Machine Operator - Indeed Hiring Event at our Arden, NC location!
Shift Hours: 7am - 7:30pm Friday - Sunday. This role offers a 40 hour pay for a 36 hour work week.
The hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour.

What you'll do:
The Fabrication Operator is responsible to process and bend raw material through the Fabrication Department. Performing initial set-up for machine operation.
In this function you will:
• Operate equipment/machinery to produce parts

• Interpret work orders including written, oral, Kanban cards, and drawings
• Maintain necessary tools and materials for continuous operation
• Inspect final component against work specifications
• Perform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment
• Provide on-the-job training for new operators
• Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Arden, NC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
Preferred Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• Machining Certificate.
• Previous experience in Fabrication.
Skills:
• Able to lift 35 pounds - waist, shoulder, overhead.
• Able to read calipers, protractors and tape measures.
• Able to read blue prints.
• Proven history of safe work habits and good attendance.
• Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision.
• Able to work overtime - weekdays and weekends.
