Eaton is currently seeking a Vice President Supply Chain Operations - Production. This position can be based remotely within the United States with preference to the following Eaton's hub locations: Cleveland OH, Pittsburgh PA, Raleigh NC, Charlotte NC, Milwaukee WI, Houston TX or Detroit MI. 50 percent travel is anticipated.
Position Overview:
The Vice President Supply Chain Operations - Production will be responsible for optimizing and standardizing processes for shop floor activities, ensuring that our operations are efficient, productive, and aligned with our customer requirements, business objectives and strategic goals. This role requires a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and an in-depth understanding of shop floor processes, execution and tools, and what great looks like. This position will play a pivotal role in the transition to cost center, MES implementation, aligning daily execution aligned with basic principles of running operations, and effective OpA deployments across our manufacturing sites.

This role will develop and implement strategies to standardize operations on the shop floor, streamline processes and ensure that all sites are operating at peak efficiency. This includes coordinating with members of the global leadership team to address any operational process challenges, providing guidance and support, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead and manage all aspects of production process, including cost center definition and transition.
• Develop and understand how manufacturing plants need to be set up from the value stream standpoint to always maximize value.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency on the production floor.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations and alignment with overall business objectives.
• Responsible for leveraging lean manufacturing principles and best practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives, aligned with improvement opportunities to increase customer value and capacity.
• Ensure processes that comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards on the shop floor.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and efficiency
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for the shop floor management team.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience working in a global manufacturing environment
• Minimum ten (10) years management experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in leading and managing large-scale projects
• Experience in Program and Project management, coordinating, tracking and reporting across multiple workstreams
• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream mapping agility
• Experience in partnering with senior leadership team globally
• Certifications related to project management or process improvement
• Experience in coaching and advising senior executives on business-critical issues
Position Criteria:
• In depth knowledge of Manufacturing Operating System such as TPS (Toyota Production System)
• Proven track record influencing and driving complex and large-scale organizational change
• Track record of effectively balancing operational and strategic priorities to ensure seamless delivery
• Collaborative and team-work focused style a must
• Deep experience execution continuous improvement events, kaizens, driving consistent and sustainable improvements
• Experience navigating a highly matrixed global organization to execute HR strategy
• Exposure across technology, manufacturing and power management industries a plus
• Able to cooperate and influence in a matrix organization
• Deep understanding of industry best practices and a commitment to continuous improvement

The expected annual salary range for this role is $236997.0 - $347595.6 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
